I ended up joining the Army a year after graduating High School. About 8 months later, I married my high school sweetheart Susan Bell and we have now been married over 17 years. We have 4 beautiful children that light up our lives. While I have been serving in the Army, I was able to attain my Masters Degree, believe me it was not easy. I never gave up my love for soccer and was able to play for the Army and Armed Forces Soccer Teams. I had the privilege of representing the United States in Brazil in International competition, which has always been a dream of mine. I have been deployed and have lived all over the world. It has been a fun ride, but I am pretty tired now. I will retire in 2010 and it can't come soon enough.
I missed the 10 year reunion, because I was deployed to Macedonia and I am currently in Iraq. But, I am hoping to make it to the 20 year reunion to see all the people that have touched my life. I would like to say, I miss those days when we were young and carefree. I am looking forward to seeing everyone. |
